Focus on IÉSEG’s International Club

WInternational Clubhile IÉSEG is based in France, its mission is to be a truly international business school. This academic year, we welcome 1,900 international students (98 different nationalities) and more than 80% of the full time permanent faculty is ‘international. In this context, the International Club is a student association established to provide support to international students and to facilitate interaction between French and international students.

The Association, in collaboration with the School, organizes events during the “orientation week” as well a series of cultural and social events throughout the academic year for French and international students:
· A ‘welcome’ and ‘farewell gala’ each semester,
· Visits to museums, cooking contests, wine tasting etc
· Trips and visits to cities/regions/tourist sites such as Munich, Prague, London, Amsterdam, Le Mont St Michel, Normandy, etc

The International Club also runs a “Buddy System” that allows international students to be put into pairs with French students. French students can offer language support, advice and information about the cultural life and both students benefit from intercultural exchange.

Students from the International Club have also created “IÉSEG Abroad,” a website/blog offering advice and testimonials from IÉSEG students who are on academic exchange or internship abroad. This site also has an interactive map to find the students and graduates worldwide.
