IÉSEG Corporate Relations – A look back at 2016-2017

photoforum2Through a range of different events throughout the year, IÉSEG welcomed 550 companies in order to facilitate links between students and the business world.

4 Career Fairs were organized on the Lille and Paris-La Défense campuses for companies wishing to meet with the School’s young talents:

  • 120 companies, all offering internships or jobs to Master (Grande École program) students, gathered for the IÉSEG Career Day.
  • During a half-day event, first and second year students were able to meet with a number of companies likely to offer Social and Sales internships (Longchamp, CRIT and Calzedonia, for example).
  • The Auditing fair, which takes place every year in November, is a not-to-be-missed event for companies recruiting in this field.
  • Finally, Postgraduate Program students (over 40 nationalities) had the chance to attend a dedicated fair in Lille, which facilitated the recruitment of interns for French and international companies.

Overall, more than 60 corporate events were organized in 2016-2017, including 47 recruitment sessions with companies like Nike (the Netherlands), Disney, Wavestone and l’Oréal. IÉSEG also proposes corporate talks every Tuesday evening (on both campuses), and afterwork events with the participation of, for example: Air Liquide, Société Générale and Burger King. It also proposed, during program courses, presentations by executives such as Yves Francis, CEO of Deloitte Luxembourg, and Claire Silva, Senior Vice-President of Human Resources at McDonald’s France.

Last May, ATOS France, represented by Jean-Marie Simon, Executive Vice President, sponsored the graduation ceremony for the Grande École and Postgraduate program students.

Around 35 new corporate partnerships were signed and new companies joined the IÉSEG Corporate Partners Club, which allows partners to benefit from numerous different services to increase the visibility of their employer brand on the IÉSEG campuses (conferences, breakfasts, meetings, etc.)

In December 2016, IÉSEG inaugurated the Wall of Fame in Lille, which highlights the School’s key corporate partners. In June 2017, the School also welcomed over 200 participants at the second edition of the Corporate Summer Workshop centered on the theme Changemakers for a better society in Paris. This was an opportunity for participants to meet and exchange with numerous professionals, such as Thomas Bouret, General Director of Leroy Merlin France, and Michel De Rovira, Co-founder of Michel et Augustin.

Meanwhile, IÉSEG students participated in a number of case studies for companies like Camaïeu, Norauto, Decathlon, Leroy Merlin and Uniqlo.

In the framework of its applied research and innovation to serve companies, IÉSEG signed a new partnership with la Caisse d’Epargne Hauts de France, centered on the themes of Innovation and Corporate Social Responsibility.
