In their first year, IÉSEG students get a two or three months experience holding the position of a Worker. They work as operators, assembly line workers, warehousemen/women, employees… in the manufacturing industry or service sector.

In their second year, students will have a two to three month work placement as sales person. The purpose is to be in direct contact with diverse customers or clients to develop sales arguments.
Second-year collective projects represent a key event in the life of IÉSEG students.
The objective of these projects is to develop creativity and imagination, team work and plan actions, work out and control a budget, develop the capacity to communicate to an external public, while addressing humanitarian/charity-focused objectives.

aims to raise awareness of women’s issues, from abuse to body shaming and obesity, through events such as fashion shows, body awareness workshops and sports races.
fights against cultural social inequalities in primary school, linked with the cinema. By children making a short-movie, the association aims to sensitize and reduce the social inequalities.

Between June and August, students carry out a work placement, involving responsibilities, for four to five months. The missions they carry out may involve various departments: sales, finance, management, marketing, human resources…
In addition to courses in the common core curriculum, students will opt for other “elective” courses each semester.
During the 3rd year, students take part in a CSR project (Corporate Social Responsibility).
Divided into groups, they work on real CSR issues that have been identified by partner companies. With the support of coaches and professors at the School, students study the topic before presenting their recommendations and an action plan to the company.
IÉSEG gives its students the opportunity of attending some courses in a foreign university to pursue three objectives:
IÉSEG offers students the opportunity to take a gap year/semester at the end of their third year or during their Master’s degree program. This gap year is optional. Students can take advantage of their gap year to gain work experience or to carry our a personal, humanitarian project…
You may ask for a gap year during your 3rd year and for a gap semester or a gap year during the Master’s degree program.
You may not take more than one gap year during the entire IÉSEG program.
Since september 2019, Grande Ecole Program students have been following a mandatory web development and a compulsory UX (User Experience) & UI (User Interface) Design courses online, designed and led by Le Wagon, an internationally recognized coding school.
Furthermore, students have access to two modules during the Master cycle: “Data analysis with Python” and “Automation & API”.
Master Grande École students have the opportunity to participate in the Manager in Vivo course with the responsibility for accompanying and managing around several first and second year Bachelor-cycle students throughout a semester. This coaching is based on two main areas: communication and networking.
These allow the Bachelor students to develop their network, define their professional project, enhance teamwork and prevent them to underperform during their studies.
