MBA - Leadership & Coding track: Class Profile

The MBA – Leadership and Coding track is a one-year MBA program designed for professionals who seek to understand the increasing complexity of a changing digital world.

Building on a fully integrated program, combining management and coding courses from two leading international institutions, the program will help the participants to leverage their analytical skills and their versatility in dealing with both the languages of business and tech.

Based in Paris, the MBA is offered on a full-time basis and consists of 2 consecutive terms of courses followed by a 1-term capstone project. It’s designed for professionals with at least 3 years of work experience.

The program aims to develop managers and changemakers with an inspirational learning journey, combining state-of-the-art business and coding courses.

By joining IÉSEG’s MBA, participants join a highly diverse community that facilitates collaboration and exchange across the three programs. Participants develop expertise in their chosen track and widen their horizons by interacting with participants from other programs during common courses and activities, enabling them to develop a broader outlook on tackling challenges. Their learning experience via business games, live cases, simulations, entrepreneurial projects, equips them with the skills and the confidence to lead successful transformations in a variety of contexts.

  • Electives

In order to personalize their learning experience, the participants choose from a series of electives each semester. Project Management, Luxury Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Business development strategy and commercial techniques are examples of the electives to choose from.

The choice of electives offered evolves every year to take current trends, access to experts, etc. into account.

  • Capstone Project

The capstone project of the program is an important component that helps integrate learnings from the coursework through a significant practical project. In general, there are two options for the MBA capstone.

The first is to engage in a project of professional experience in the form of an internship, regular work contract or entrepreneurial effort that involves full-time commitment for four to six months. The second is to take up a professional consultancy thesis that seeks to address an applied managerial problem under the guidance of an academic advisor.

In both cases, the projects are structured within specific time frames following applicable guidelines. The most significant among the requirements is the submission of a structured professional project report or professional consultancy thesis. Participants are free to opt for the type of capstone they would do to complete the program within the overall time frame of the program.
