Teaching

The Management department groups professors from the following tracks:

  • Human Resource Management (HRM), which aims to give students the necessary knowledge and tools in Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management and Organizational Design. This track prepares students for careers in HR departments and people management.
  • Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E). This track groups professors from various fields such as Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Corporate Responsibility and Ethics. The teaching focus is to prepare students to analyse the complexity of corporate strategies and to be able to act as entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs.
  • Management of Information Systems (MIS). This track prepares students for professional positions such as business analyst and process expert especially in consulting firms and large national or multinational companies. This track also manages two modules in the bachelor program, where the focus is in understanding the role of technology and information systems in organizations.
  • Operation Management (OPS). This track provides to students the required knowledge and experience with respect to supply chain management, logistic and quality management. The track also takes care of project management and consulting skills courses at bachelor and master levels.

Our approach focuses on the importance of student interaction during courses, as the ability to discuss and defend ideas is central to the management profession. In addition, we are a very diverse team of professors coming from various countries and various previous professional experiences.

We believe this diversity of experiences enriches our students, as well as the strive to bring our research insights into the classroom.
